FAQ's

Below you will find some frequently asked questions I often receive. I have tried to answer all of your questions and concerns, however, if you still can’t find what you’re looking for, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Where are you based?

I am based in Norfolk but can travel to you on the day of your wedding and for your trial ( travel costs apply). I have a studio in Norfolk which is where your trial can take place. Please contact me to discuss further.

How can I make a booking?

To book please email me or use the contact form on my website. Please include your name, wedding date and venue, bridal party size, and services you require. I will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your date is available and send you further details. Please note I require a £70 non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding date.

I have sensitive skin and allergies can I still have my makeup done?

Please let me know when we first speak about any concerns you may have with your skin. I am a trained beauty therapist and have worked in the industry for over 14 years so I have a lot of experience with all types of skin issues. I am confident we will still be able to provide you with an amazing wedding look so please do not hesitate to contact me.

I have a large bridal party are you able to provide the make up?

I have worked many weddings and am use to supplying make up to large bridal parties with a strict timeline so I am very comfortable with large bridal parties. However, the amount of people I can provide makeup for will be dependant on your ceremony time and what time you are willing to start! Please mention the bridal party size to me when we first speak, I can then let you know if a second artist will be required.

What will happen on the wedding day?

I will provide a detailed time schedule of when I will need to start each member of your bridal party. If you have a hairdresser I will also work with them to ensure your morning runs smoothly. I will arrive at your venue with plenty of time to set up and will start makeup as soon as you are ready. I promise to bring a calming presence to your morning as I understand myself how stressful the run-up to your big day can be. I am here to ensure the morning of your wedding runs smoothly and will stay with you until you walk down the aisle. I also offer a change in makeup for your evening reception, upon request.

What products do you use?

I only use cruelty-free products with the majority being vegan too. The products I use will depend on your skin type and your needs. We can discuss this further during your trial. Brands I use: Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Illamasqua, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Rare Beauty, Vieve, Tower 28, Trinny London, Too Faced, Tarte plus many more!

Do you provide false eyelashes?

Yes, I do - I can apply individual or strip lashes. If you have a specific type of lash you would like me to use please let me know and I will endeavour to accommodate your request.

Do I need a makeup trial?

Having a trial is recommended in order for me to fully understand your needs and requirements. For a bride, I would highly recommend one so you feel more comfortable on your wedding day as you know what to expect. It also gives me time to understand your needs and learn of any sensitivity or allergies.

A trial gives us the time to meet each other and talk through what you do and do not like and allows me to test a few looks on you. It also helps you test run the look to see how it wears on your skin type and will help to confirm you are completely happy before the wedding day.

Having your trial about 3 months before your wedding is ideal.

However, you can have it much earlier or closer to your wedding date.

Makeup trials can be provided for your bridal party upon request.
